Picking a sports award is harder than running laps in August along the Gulf Coast. You want something cooler than a plastic trophy but not as weird as a golden shoe… cuz not everyone can be “weird” in Austin. Is Austin weird anymore? [throws away Keep Austin Weird t-shirt from 1998] It’s more creepy than weird these days… thanks, Elon! Anyway, medals are classic but end up in drawers and another water bottle may be useful but screams “participation.” And if they are winner, no need to give them a gift card to buy more gear to kick your ass next year too. A custom engraved sports award will always be first place. 😉
